Bavarian dishes are hearty soul food, making very simple regional ingredients into tasty, satisfying culinary experiences. We are going to prepare easy varieties of bread and potato dumplings, Spätzle – serving it as Käsespätzle (Bavarian Mac & Cheese), and an authentic Krustenbraten (roasted pork and crackling) made from Bavarian pork. For side dishes we are going to make a healthy Krautsalat (slaw) and of course Kartoffelsalat (potato salad). To satisfy our sweet tooth we are going to bake Apfel- and Topfenstrudel.
Please bring: tea towel, apron and small plastic containers.
