This course aims to help you improve your English for situations such as making introductions and building client relationships at conferences. We will practise small talk in different types of situations, focusing on common problems you may encounter in meetings, for example handling conflicts or politely interrupting to get your point across. Negotiations are often done in formal settings, we will look at key negotiating techniques including persuasion and bargaining. All of the above will focus on both British and North American styles.
Improve your communication skills in informal and formal business situations. Topics include: small talk, discussing ideas at meetings, negotiations, and current news topics. The focus is on speaking.
Improve your English communication in the workplace! You will practise oral and written communication skills in a variety of business situations. Emphasis is on fluency and vocabulary and confidence building. Grammar will be focused on as needed.
