Die Sprache ist bekannt für ihren melodischen Klang und ihre klare Struktur. Von Anfang an lernen Sie Tagalog, aktiv zu sprechen. Ziel ist, sich in einfachen Alltagssituationen sicher verständigen zu können. Sie üben praxisnah Begrüßungen (z. B. Kamusta?), sich Vorstellen und Small Talk sowie Situationen wie Einkaufen oder Essenbestellen im Restaurant. Grundlegende Grammatik wird klar und verständlich eingeführt, um die Sprache besser zu verstehen und eigene einfache Sätze bilden zu können. This course is for those who know the letters of the Hebrew alphabet, are familiar with the vowel signs (Nikud), are able to read and have a basic vocabulary. This course is perfect for those who want to read more fluently, expand their vocabulary and improve their pronunciation. You'll also gain more confidence in speaking, understanding sentence structures better and improving your listening comprehension. (It roughly corresponds to lessons 1-7) The course will be taught in English. You need English level A2-B1.

The Hiragana and Katakana script were introduced. You will also develop the ability to speak and construct basic sentences in Japanese.

With continuously increasing demand we are performing research to make air travel safer and more reliable. A researcher at the Institute of Flight System Dynamics will show some aspects of the research currently being done using the flight simulator. There will be an opportunity for participants to sit inside the simulator and to test their aircraft piloting skills.

A dynamic yoga style in which the asanas (postures) flow into one another. The breath leads the movement. This intensive yoga practice strengthens the muscles, improves mobility and trains balance. Are you interested in Irish culture, music and history? Have you ever been to Ireland and wondered at the bilingual signs? Then MVHS invites you to the introductory course in Irish. In this course, you will learn how to exchange greetings and personal information and get familiar with the unique spelling and pronunciation of the Irish language. Part of each lesson is also devoted to the history of the language and its significance for today’s Irish society. The instruction will be held entirely in English. You need English skills at level B1.

Thai-Yoga Massage (TYM) is a full body holistic workout with a very soothing effect. In this workshop you will gain an insight into this beautiful massage form which is performed while fully clothed on a mat on the floor. With full physical involvement the typical techniques for the masseur are, for example, the use of thumb, palm, foot, elbow etc. to relax and stretch the body of the recipient. Course participants are invited to discover the pleasure by both giving and receiving TYM in each massage-sequence.

Improve your observational and technical drawing skills by activating the right side of the brain whilst learning how to draw. Based on ideas in Betty Edwards’ book "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain", you will discover drawing techniques which trick the brain into seeing better. These techniques can help improve realistic drawing skills, the drawing of faces, as well as one’s understanding of perspective. Even beginners can use this method to achieve surprising results.

Find out how to combine various techniques of watercolour, drawing, collage and stencilling to create expressive and colourful artworks. Through practical demonstrations and exercises, you will learn how to quickly sketch using watercolour and pencil, how to plan an image, how to apply various drawing and watercolour techniques, and how to incorporate collage and stencil elements to your work. We focus on developing your own unique approach to creating mixed media images on paper.

This course is for beginners as well as those who wish to improve their drawing skills and refine their understanding of visual language. This course aims to provide an overview of German social reality and everyday culture that goes beyond clichés and stereotypes. We will cover a broad range of aspects, from economic and sociological facts to intellectual, religious, and cultural traditions. Of course, we will talk about beer, sausages, football, and Autobahn, but also about less famous aspects like German humour, media, and the education system. We will also explore the things that participants find puzzling in their daily life in Germany. Participation is possible without having attended the previous parts of the course.

Our back plays a crucial role in the stability of our body and spine. Pain is often caused by poor posture, one-sided movements, and lack of exercise. In order to prevent this, the muscles that strengthen the back and improve posture are specifically targeted in the class. These exercises are complemented by mobilization and coordination exercises. The course concludes with an extensive stretching session. This course takes place online using Zoom. An email with the access data will be automatically sent one day before the respective course day at around 6:00 a.m.

In this course you will learn or revise fundamental techniques and, with guidance, transfer your ideas to paper. The result will be as varied as its creators. Acrylic paints are most suitable for this course, however, if you would prefer to work with other materials, please feel free to bring them along.

Explore basic illustration methods and materials to create colourful and realistic images. Develop skills which will allow you to have a different and unique approach to the text being illustrated, depending on the literary genre and the age of its readers. We will discuss basic design and colour theory and look at some techniques of watercolour and drawing which will give you more control over your image and level of detail. This course is excellent for anyone who is always striving to draw or paint more "realistically".

Discover the various experimental approaches to drawing. Explore your creativity and develop expressive approaches to image making. Through a series of in-class exercises and projects, you will learn to take risks, embrace serendipity, be innovative, work collaboratively, and to employ a range of conventional and non-conventional drawing mediums and tools. The teacher supports you individually on your way.

Do you already have experience in drawing? Now it's time to improve and further develop your knowledge and skills. We will emphasize drawing the human figure - anatomy, body mechanics, dynamic poses, portraiture, facial expressions, psychology, and emotions. We will work again on the basics of drawing, but will add texturing, materiality, and lighting. We will pay close attention to how to create focal points in our pictures, as well as to colour theory and the contribution of colours to visual language.

By making a piece of jewellery (a ring, bracelet, pair of earrings or a pendant), beginner goldsmiths will learn the basic goldsmithing techniques such as soldering, filing and sawing. Intermediate goldsmiths will have the opportunity to learn new techniques by designing and creating their own ideas. In this course we will mainly work with silver. You are welcome to bring your own silver and stones, however, it will be possible to buy silver and a variety of semi-precious stones directly in the workshop.

"Where are the drums?" You might find yourself asking this when singers in vocal ensembles mimic the sounds of drums like the hi-hat, snare and bass drum. In beatboxing, all these sounds are made using just the mouth, tongue, throat, and nose. In this workshop, you'll learn the basics of beatboxing, practice together, and get useful tips for practicing on your own at home.

Learn how to cook delicious and authentic Indian curries, which are purely vegetarian and full of fresh vegetables, traditional spices, and the distinctive scent of India. You will learn about the different seasoning mixes and their uses. The menu includes, for example: dal with spinach and ginger, paneer with chard, tarka dal with carrots, and a spicy potato curry. We will enjoy our menu together with a fresh mango lassi. All dishes are gluten-free.

In this workshop we will concentrate on the art of ring making. You will experience and practise the basic and essential techniques of the goldsmith such as sawing, filing and soldering. We will mainly work with silver and semi-precious stones. Participants who want to work with gold should bring their own materials (including the soldering material). You are welcome to bring your own silver; however, it will be possible to buy silver and stones directly in the workshop.

In this walk through the neighbourhood of Schwabing, you will begin to capture the essence of what you see, be it architecture, people or details. Your instructor will help you eliminate distractions and see and capture subjects with a more creative eye. During this walk you will practice setting up compositions, looking to all corners of the frame. The photo tour will give you the opportunity to practice what you learn.

Do you enjoy Bavarian pretzels and rolls and want to learn how to bake them yourself? We'll show you how! You'll learn how to bake pretzels with their typical golden crust and soft center, as well as light and airy rolls with their fluffy texture. We'll also prepare matching homemade spreads like Obatzda (traditional Bavarian cheese) or herb quark. We'll mix, knead, shape, and bake our own delicious creations. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced baker, a fun and interactive experience awaits everyone. At the end, we'll enjoy our baked goods and spreads in a relaxed atmosphere .

CELTA, Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, is an internationally recognised initial qualification for English language teaching to adults. No other square in Munich's city centre has undergone as many changes in two hundred years as Königsplatz. The future King Ludwig I had it built at the beginning of the 19th century in classic Hellenisitc style. The National Socialists (NSDAP) converted it into a parade ground for their party quarter. Following an architectural and historical examination of Königsplatz, we will visit St. Boniface's Abbey and take a closer look at the former buildings of the NSDAP.

What is understood under the term risk management and how is it implemented by employees and/or project leaders? Through input and practical exercises you will learn how to identify, evaluate and monitor potential risk, and to depict it in cost management. You will also learn how to create a risk plan. This seminar is in alignment with international standards of project management (PMI). It is part of the Project Management Course of Lectures which completes the examination for certification as Project Manager (W440565) but can also be visited as a standalone course. Requirement: Basic knowledge in project management.

The stone was and still is an essential part of the jewel. In this workshop we will concentrate on a few classical stone setting techniques such as the cabochon setting and prong setting. You will learn these classical techniques to develop and create your own design. We will mainly work with silver and semi-precious stones. Participants who want to work with gold should bring their own materials (including the soldering material). You are welcome to bring with you your own silver and stones; however, it will be possible to buy silver and a variety of semi-precious stones directly in the workshop.

Our main focus is "The Camera". During this course you will become familiar with all your camera's most important functions and how to use them. You will also gain the technical know-how to start making the most of your digital SLR and develop a creative approach to photography as well as learning how to set the menu correctly to get the best technical results. We will go on location to shoot our pictures then evaluate them later in class.

The Munich Residence served as the home and seat of government for the Bavarian Dukes, Prince-Electors, and Kings from 1508 to 1918. Its rooms and art collections – including the Antiquarium, one of the most magnificent Renaissance halls north of the Alps, and the Rich Rooms, exquisite gems of the Rococo period – reflect the artistic sensibilities of the House of Wittelsbach. Other highlights of the tour include the breathtaking "Rich Chapel" of Maximilian I and the beautifully restored Königsbau, which houses the royal apartments of Ludwig I. In this beer tasting, we will familiarise ourselves with Munich's most popular breweries and their history. We will taste their most outstanding varieties, including the most popular and refreshing combinations. We will learn about the glasses and the measures used, the history of beer in Munich, the beer purity law and many other interesting facts. All this will be accompanied by a snack which we will prepare together: the typical Bavarian potato salad, sausage salad and Obazda.
