Conversation & Practice

This course is designed to bridge the gap between levels B1 and B2. The focus is on speaking while improving fluency and vocabulary by using lively communication games and activities, short texts and stories. Discussing current topics will be incorporated in the course, with plenty of interaction with both the other participants and the teacher to create a supportive and communicative learning atmosphere.

We will read the novel, The Night Manager, adapted version, level B1. You will spend 60 minutes in an online class on Zoom each week, and in between, you will participate in written online discussions and tasks with your teacher.

Practice and improve your spoken English! We will focus on authentic language from videos or short texts, and use activities to make you feel more confident with spontaneous conversations and your listening comprehension, while also helping to increase your vocabulary. This course focuses on improving your spoken English. You will practise speaking a lot, revise important grammar, and expand your active vocabulary with the help of a coursebook.

If you´re out of practice, just come along and start talking. Find out how to communicate in everyday situations and talk about everyday issues in a relaxed atmosphere, correcting and avoiding mistakes as you go. You can "go with the flow" - or, together with your teacher, choose the things you want to talk about.

Let’s go off the beaten track! Boost your vocabulary, improve fluency, and sound more natural in English! This course focuses on useful collocations – word combinations that commonly go together – and popular idioms that add flair to your speech. You'll learn idioms and collocations in context through a variety of excercises, making them easier to remember and use confidently.You’ll learn about common structures, literal versus figurative menaing and fixed idioms, and some fun facts about where they come from.
