This course is designed to improve your speaking skills in conversations. Through engaging topics and interactive activities, you can improve your listening skills, expand your vocabulary, and practice spontaneous speech. Perfect for building fluency and tackling real-world conversations with ease!

We will read The Great Gatsby, as well as a selection of short stories. You will spend 60 minutes in an online class on Zoom each week, and in between, you will participate in online discussions and tasks with your teacher.

In this course we address a variety of themes and get to know famous authors by reading original texts or abridged versions of their books at the B2 level. We are going to agree on what text to read in the first appointment. Discussion of books always gives opportunity enough to talk about new expressions, interesting formulations and review grammar issues. Would you like to spend as much time as possible practicing your English? In this course we focus on speaking only! To make sure you are ready for each lesson, we will give you a variety of online resources, videos, or texts together with exercises to complete via our internal online platform. You will bring what you have learned, into the classroom where we will discuss and talk about the topic in question and improve your spoken English. To take part successfully you must make sure you have time to complete the activities between each lesson.

For intermediate students who would like to learn more about English-speaking cultures. We will read a handful of English, Irish, American and Commonwealth poems and stories -- some simplified, some not -- and use them as a basis for language games, vocabulary-building exercises and discussions. The two courses can be booked independently of each other.

Your English is at a stable B2 level? Then it is time to move on to C1! This will help you to refine and broaden your vocabulary.

Improve your English and help us train new teachers at the same time. Every day you will be taught by different teachers who are training with us. They will learn under supervision how to teach English successfully while you, as participants, improve your grammar, expand your vocabulary, and practice reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The course fee is already reduced by half; if you attend 90 percent of the time, you can receive an additional 50 percent of the fee back. It is also possible to join the course after it has started; we are always happy to welcome new participants.

This weekend course should act as a 'mini language trip', where you can explore all kinds of topics and contexts in spoken English. A small group ensures everyone has a chance to participate in this fun morning.
