This dynamic one-week course is designed for upper-intermediate learners aiming to boost their confidence and fluency. Using inspiring talks and real-world topics, each session builds vocabulary, strengthens grammar, and improves listening and speaking skills. Learners engage with authentic video content, practical language tasks, and guided discussions to express ideas more effectively. The course encourages critical thinking and active communication, helping participants develop the skills they need to interact naturally and confidently in both personal and professional settings.

Would you like to spend as much time as possible practicing your English? In this course we focus on speaking only! To make sure you are ready for each lesson, we will give you a variety of online resources, videos, or texts together with exercises to complete via our internal online platform. You will bring what you have learned, into the classroom where we will discuss and talk about the topic in question and improve your spoken English. To take part successfully you must make sure you have time to complete the activities between each lesson.

So far, you are getting along very well in English. However, reaching a stable C1 or even C2 level requires more precision and an understanding of how grammar shapes meaning. This course aims to strengthen learners‘ use of grammar in written and spoken interaction. Focus and repetition will enable you to proceed from your current plateau. You will learn how to broaden your language, by varying the lexical and grammatical structures available to you. This course is for C1 learners who are not yet confident in grammar when they speak or write in English as well as learners who need or want to be more precise.

Intensive talking: In this course we will use videos, discussions and a variety of scenarios to encourage as much speaking as possible. This advanced course will offer the opportunity to develop fluency in conversation through discussions of contemporary topics. From environmental themes to the economy, from political concerns to philosophy, we will explore present-day social trends of interest.

Conversation A-Z. From ablaut to zeitgeist and many points between. Subjects discussed are diverse and normally reflect current trends or events. Accuracy´s an aim, but fluency´s the game. You need to have a near native-speaker level of English to join this course.

AI can write your presentation, but you still need to present it. In this course you will learn how to support your presentation effectively. First we will concentrate on the language and structures for presentations, e.g. how to introduce the topic, keep the audience's attention, and answer questions. Later in the course you will have the chance to deliver a 15-minute presentation and receive feedback from your teacher and group. An open discussion of recent developments in U.S. politics. We’ll consider some of the historical, social and economic reasons for the rise of populism in contemporary America, the current opposition to Trumpism, the limitations on authoritarian power established in U.S. constitutional law and possible parallels to contemporary developments in Europe. The meeting will follow the traditional U.S. townhall format: a short presentation of some key background information followed by a question and answer session, accompanied by light refreshments.

While using tools cannot make you fluent and should not be the only resource, AI can help you with correcting your grammar, checking your writing, and helping improve certain skills. We will also check the reliability of results and show you for what purposes AI makes sense, and when it is useful and necessary to mix AI with real world learning to really master the language.
