You start at B2 level and work through the entire coursebook in two parts, with guided support. Units 1–5: Topics include personality, lifestyles, survival, the future, the environment. Grammar topics: narrative tenses, future forms, passive voice, if conditionals, used to, would, get used to, be used to, collocations (deeply concerned, bitterly disappointed, highly likely). Units 6–10: Topics include coming of age, community, myths and legends, business, media. Grammar topics: obligation, prohibition and permission (need, require, allow, ought to) wish and if only, relative clauses, reported speech, mixed conditionals.
