Germany can seem confusing – especially politically. This course offers an introduction to the political system of today’s Federal Republic. We begin with basic structures, institutions and cultural patterns, then look at key political forces, parties and personalities. How does German politics work and where might it be headed? Participation is possible without having joined the first part of the course.
