This year Americans go to the polls to decide which candidate will serve for the next four years. March 5th is Super Tuesday when over a dozen states will hold their primaries. By the end of March, events covering well over 50% of each party's delegates will have taken place. Our weekend is the ideal time to consider, compare and contrast the platforms and issues, the candidates, and how world events could be influenced by who wins in November. American politics is a rollercoaster so we should fasten our seatbelts and get ready for a bumpy ride. Expand vocabulary, refine argumentation, express concerns and opinions with confidence in English. We speak English only!

We take a critical look at the week's top stories from business, politics and society. Participants will practice summarizing, argumentation, constructive criticism, disagreeing and finding consensus. Focus on prepared speaking, building alternative vocabulary, and speaking skills. Some preparation at home is required.

This course is designed to improve your English communication in the workplace. Participants will practise oral and written communication skills in a variety of business situations. Emphasis is on fluency and building vocabulary and confidence. Grammar revision as needed. We ask you to take our quick placement test before registering.
