This course will help you to review your B2 vocabulary and grammar in a friendly and relaxed environment so that you can socialize and further develop your spoken fluency and listening skills. By listening to various inspiring ideas and stories, spoken in natural language, you will have the opportunity to expand your vocabulary and improve your grammar.

This course gives you the chance to develop your spoken fluency, review key grammar areas and extend your active vocabulary with the help of a coursebook.

In this fast-paced course and the following part 2 (Unit 6-10) you will complete the coursebook and therefore the C1 level in a quick and goal-oriented manner. Please plan in time for homework and revision. Units 1–5: Topics include trends, creativity, progress, intelligence, and games. Grammar topics: future in the past, negative inversion (no sooner… than, not only….but also) wishes and regrets (if only I could…, I wish I were…), the passive, reporting verbs (assert, conclude, imply). Units 6–10: Topics include discoveries, extremes, well-being, and society. Grammar topics: three-part phrasal verbs: (switch off from, look back on, come up against) cleft sentences, relative clauses with complex relative pronouns (whereby, whose, whom), discourse markers (in any case, despite, moreover).
