In this practical workshop, we will analyse and compare AI-generated and human-written texts, exploring why AI language often sounds polished yet bland. Together, we will highlight the differences and discover what makes language feel authentic, personal, and engaging. Participants will develop advanced vocabulary and functional language for expressing nuanced opinions and tone, while reflecting on what makes communication truly human.

In this workshop we will focus on key sounds, stress, intonation, and clarity to help you speak more confidently and be better understood. Through fun exercises and targeted practice, you will gain more confidence for speaking.

We will cover essential social English for everyday interactions: greetings, small talk, hobbies, weather, and more. Through fun role-plays and practical exercises, you'll gain the confidence to make a big impact in any conversation.

We learn English to speak and interact with other humans. Yet, machines can provide support in your learning process. While using tools cannot make you fluent and should not be the only resource, AI can help you with correcting your grammar, checking your writing, and helping improve certain skills. We will also check the reliability of results and show you for what purposes AI makes sense, and when it is useful and necessary to mix AI with real world learning to really master the language.
