You are a novice with AI tools and would like to know what is on offer?  In this online workshop, we will look at a selection of AI tools and see how they can help us in our planning and teaching. You will get to try out some different AI tools to get an idea of how to implement them.  This workshop is suitable for novice and experienced AI users!

This one-day course is designed to help participants of the CELTA course by offering a brief overview of English language and terminology immediately prior to the CELTA course. The course is strongly recommended for CELTA participants. In special circumstances and after consultation with the CELTA Course Director, other teachers of English may be admitted on to this course.

In this workshop we will focus on refining activities to mirror real-life situations, giving students more practical language skills. Coursebook tasks can often feel unauthentic but with just a little bit of tweaking even the mundane activities can become more authentic and engaging for learners, elevating your teaching with immersive, relatable exercises by using a simple test to check how highly they rate on the communicative scale.

Ein Teil der Gebühr (50%) kann dann zurück erstattet werden. Bei sonstiger Abwesenheit am Tag der Prüfung wird die volle Prüfungsgebühr fällig. Im Falle eines Widerrufs nach dem Fernabsatzgesetz, der nach dem Anmeldeschluss eintritt, müssen Sie die mit dem Anmeldeschluss anfallenden Kosten tragen. Es handelt sich dabei um die Gebühr, die die MVHS an Cambridge mit Ihrer Registrierung zum Anmeldeschluss zahlen muss, sowie eine Verwaltungsgebühr. Im Auftrag von Cambridge English Assessment müssen wir am Prüfungstag zum Zweck der Identifikation ein Foto von Ihnen machen. Die Prüfung kann nur stattfinden, wenn mindestens 4 Personen angemeldet sind. CELTA, Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, is an internationally recognised initial qualification for English language teaching to adults. This is a semi-intensive course and runs over 5 weeks, Monday to Friday (not on Wednesdays) from 9am to 6pm. It is suitable for candidates who are prepared to put their life on hold for 5 weeks (including weekends) but would benefit from one day midweek to regroup and process what they have learned.
