We will pay close attention to how to create focal points in our pictures, as well as to colour theory and the contribution of colours to visual language.

Improve your observational and technical drawing skills by activating the right side of the brain whilst learning how to draw. Based on ideas in Betty Edwards’ book "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain", you will discover drawing techniques which trick the brain into seeing better. These techniques can help improve realistic drawing skills, the drawing of faces, as well as one’s understanding of perspective. Even beginners can use this method to achieve surprising results.

Explore the artistic expression of calligraphy, write your name in Chinese and create your own calligraphy artwork! In the gentle atmosphere of Chinese meditation music, the brush slowly touches the paper while the ink softly spreads in rhythm with your breath. Writing becomes more than a technical exercise—it is a way to slow down and reconnect with focus and inner stillness. With each stroke, you experience a subtle connection to nature, your breath and the present moment. For more information about the lecturer, visit www.instagram.com/inkflow.zhang
